Harrys Young Lions

Harrys Young Lions was one of four clubs from South Africa that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Harrys Young Lions, 126 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Harrys Young Lions could be found in Group 20 together with Azalea BK 1, Tynecastle Football Club 2 and LB07. Harrys Young Lions continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Kungsbacka IF with 0-1. In the Final, Tynecastle Football Club 1 won over JäPS and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 13. Harrys Young Lions originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 64 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Lerums IS, IF Väster, Näsets SK, Finlandia-Pallo IF , Södra Skärgården IK, Landvetter IF, BK Bifrost, Tölö IF, Kungsbacka IF and Fässbergs IF).
