Sund/Nest-Sotra

Sund/Nest-Sotra was one of 53 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Sund/Nest-Sotra, 147 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 36 different groups, whereof Sund/Nest-Sotra could be found in Group 6 together with Assyriska BK, Walddörfer SV, Vake-WIT and IF Brommapojkarna 1. Sund/Nest-Sotra continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 6. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Paris F.C with 1-2. In the Final, Fässbergs IF won over Fyllingsdalen FK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 18. Sund/Nest-Sotra comes from 5382 Skogsvåg which lies approximately 480 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around 5382 Skogsvåg does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Frøya IL and Fyllingsdalen FK).
