IL Langhus

IL Langhus was one of 53 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to IL Langhus, 188 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof IL Langhus could be found in Group 5 together with Stars'n Stripes, Lindö FF Norrköping and Al-Quds Club. IL Langhus continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 5. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Kenkre FC with 1-2. In the Final, InterClubes won over FBK Karlstad and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 16. Langhus comes from 1405 Langhus which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around 1405 Langhus does also provide 19 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: BVIF, Skjetten SK, Huk Fotballklubb, Vålerenga Fotball, Jutul IL, Ullern Fotboll, Oppsal IF, Bærumsløkka, Lørenskog IF and Årvoll).
