Emi's Soccer Team Mexico

Emi's Soccer Team Mexico was one of 12 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Emi's Soccer Team Mexico, 110 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Emi's Soccer Team Mexico could be found in Group 9 together with Tjust IF FF, IFK Kalmar and Sörfors IF. Emi's Soccer Team Mexico continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against IFK Osby with 0-6. In the Final, Kristianstad DFF won over Skara FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 15. Emi's Soccer Team Mexico comes from Edo. de Mexico which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Edo. de Mexico does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Club Aba Sport, CLUB REFORMA, CECAP Cruz Azul, America Elite, TEC.CEM., Chivas Guadalajara and Cruz Azul Zona Esmeralda).
