Markham School

Markham School was one of two clubs from Peru that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Markham School, 111 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Markham School could be found in Group 23 together with SC Borgfeld eV, BK Häcken 1 and Slottskogen/Godhem. Markham School continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against KFV Segeberg 1 with 3-4. In the Final, IF FF Hammarby 1 won over KFV Segeberg 1 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 11. Markham School comes from Lima 12 Lima which lies approximately 11000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Markham School, the club Cantolao, AD does also originate from the area around Lima 12 Lima.
