Gustafs GoIF

Gustafs GoIF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Gustafs GoIF, 84 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof Gustafs GoIF could be found in Group 7 together with Näsets SK, SC Vier- und Marschlande Hamburg and FC Järfälla. Gustafs GoIF made it to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 7. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Bele Barkarby FF with 1-2. Thereby Gustafs GoIF finished second in G17 Slutspel A during Gothia Cup 2012. Gustafs GoIF comes from Borlänge which lies approximately 370 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Borlänge does also provide two additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Säters IF and Korsnäs IF).
