Weston AFC 1

Weston AFC was one of 31 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Weston AFC, 147 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 36 different groups, whereof Weston AFC 1 could be found in Group 16 together with Belgica, Oskarshamns AIK, JBST International Soccer Club and Norrby IF. Weston AFC 1 continued to Slutspel B after reaching 5:th place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against RS Magny with 2-4. In the Final, Corsa FC 1 won over C.B./Oeste Solidaria and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 18. The area around does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Granham Casuals FC, Paulista, AC and Luton Town FC).
