Fristad GoIF/Sparsörs AIK/Borgstena IF

Fristad GoIF/Sparsörs AIK/Borgstena IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to Fristad GoIF/Sparsörs AIK/Borgstena IF, 147 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 36 different groups, whereof Fristad GoIF/Sparsörs AIK/Borgstena IF could be found in Group 25 together with First Mobile Sports Academy, KF Gjakova and Ipswich School. Fristad GoIF/Sparsörs AIK/Borgstena IF continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 25. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Fyllingsdalen FK with 0-3. In the Final, Fässbergs IF won over Fyllingsdalen FK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 18. Fristad GoIF/Sparsörs AIK/Borgstena comes from Borås which lies approximately 60 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Borås does also provide 18 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Ambjörnarp/Uddebo FF, Bergdalens IK, Ulricehamns IFK, Brämhults IK, Sandared/Sjömarkens IF, Holmalunds IF, Jitex FC, GAIS, IFK Örby and Gerdskens BK).
