Trångfors IF

Trångfors IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Trångfors IF, 84 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof Trångfors IF could be found in Group 20 together with Millwall FC, Kungsbacka DFF 1 and IFK Nyköping 1. Trångfors IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IFK Nyköping 2 with 0-4. In the Final, Skurups AIF won over Linköping Kenty DFF and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 17. Trångfors comes from Boden which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Boden does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (IFK Luleå, Bergnäsets AIK, Lira BK, Notvikens IK, LSK/Lira, Luleå Sportklubb , Luleå SK and Svartbjörnsbyns IF).
