Bærums Verk IF

Bærums Verk IF was one of 53 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to Bærums Verk IF, 233 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof Bærums Verk IF could be found in Group 4 together with Subiaco Junior Soccer Club, Centre de Saint-André and Sundbybergs IK 1. Bærums Verk IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against AIK FF with 0-3. In the Final, Staffanstorps GIF won over First Touch FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 15. Bærums Verk comes from 1349 Rykkinn which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around 1349 Rykkinn does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: BVIF, Skjetten SK, Huk Fotballklubb, Vålerenga Fotball, Jutul IL, Ullern Fotboll, Oppsal IF, Bærumsløkka, Lørenskog IF and Årvoll).
