Chivas Guadalajara

Chivas Guadalajara was one of 12 clubs from Mexico that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Chivas Guadalajara, 204 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Chivas Guadalajara could be found in Group 4 together with IFK Aspudden-Tellus 2, Guldhedens IK 2 and Brighton & Hove Albion. Chivas Guadalajara made it to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Fyllingsdalen FK 1, which they won with 4-1. Thereby Chivas Guadalajara won the entire Slutspel A in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2012. Chivas Guadalajara comes from HUIXQUILUCAN ESTADO DE MEXICO which lies approximately 9400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
