Lillpite IF

Lillpite IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Lillpite IF, 92 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof Lillpite IF could be found in Group 23 together with Oulu Nice Soccer, Tölö IF, DFF, Vasalunds and Jyllinge FC. Lillpite IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 23. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against HooGee Rubiinit with 0-1. In the Final, Tölö IF won over Rävåsens IK and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 14. Lillpite comes from Lillpite which lies approximately 980 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Lillpite IF, the club Storfors AIK does also originate from the area around Lillpite.
