UFC Kecskemet

UFC Kecskemet was one of four clubs from Hungary that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to UFC Kecskemet, 111 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof UFC Kecskemet could be found in Group 15 together with Torslanda IK, Azalea BK 2 and Maharashtra. UFC Kecskemet continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 15. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Senlis, U.S.M. 1 with 1-6. In the Final, IF FF Hammarby 1 won over KFV Segeberg 1 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 11. UFC Kecskemet comes from 6000 Kecskemet which lies approximately 1300 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than UFC Kecskemet, the club Kecskeméti T.E. does also originate from the area around 6000 Kecskemet.
