FK Sarajevo

FK Sarajevo was the only club from Bosnia and Herzegovina that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to FK Sarajevo, 140 other teams from 31 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof FK Sarajevo could be found in Group 2 together with IF FF Hammarby, Masthuggets BK and Mölndal Fotboll 2. FK Sarajevo continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 2. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Dallas Texans with 1-4. In the Final, IF Elfsborg won over Efthymiades FA and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 12. FK Sarajevo comes from 71 000 SARAJEVO which lies approximately 1600 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
