Frogner IL

Frogner IL was one of 53 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Frogner IL, 110 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Frogner IL could be found in Group 17 together with Sundsvalls DFF 2, BK Häcken and BK Astrio. Frogner IL continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against P18 IK 1 with 1-2. In the Final, Kristianstad DFF won over Skara FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 15. Frogner comes from 2016 Frogner which lies approximately 260 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around 2016 Frogner does also provide 16 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: BVIF, Skjetten SK, Huk Fotballklubb, Vålerenga Fotball, Jutul IL, Ullern Fotboll, Oppsal IF, Bærumsløkka, Lørenskog IF and Årvoll).
