Sags Soccer

Sags Soccer was one of three clubs from Kenya that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Sags Soccer, 111 other teams from 28 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Sags Soccer could be found in Group 17 together with IF Brommapojkarna 2 and Lärje/Angered IF. Sags Soccer continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 17. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Helsingborgs IF 1 with 2-7. In the Final, IF FF Hammarby 1 won over KFV Segeberg 1 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 11. Sags Soccer comes from Nairobi which lies approximately 6900 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
