Syrianska IF

Syrianska IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Syrianska IF, 110 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Syrianska IF could be found in Group 1 together with Sävar IK, ASD Femminile Inter Milano and IF Team Hudik. Syrianska IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Svartbjörnsbyns IF with 0-3. In the Final, Kristianstad DFF won over Skara FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 15. Syrianska comes from VÄSTERÅS which lies approximately 340 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around VÄSTERÅS does also provide 17 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Triangelns IK, Skiljebo SK, BK Sport, IFK Eskilstuna, IFK Västerås FK, Surahammars FK, Skogstorps GoIF, Barkarö SK , Kvicksunds SK and Gideonsbergs IF).
