JSG Kefenrod

JSG Kefenrod was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to JSG Kefenrod, 188 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof JSG Kefenrod could be found in Group 42 together with Staffanstorps GIF, St. Paul Blackhawks and Lørenskog IF. JSG Kefenrod continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 42. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Towamencin with 0-3. In the Final, InterClubes won over FBK Karlstad and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 16. Kefenrod comes from Büdingen which lies approximately 840 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than JSG Kefenrod, the club KSV Klein-Karben does also originate from the area around Büdingen.
