HooGee Rubiinit

HooGee Rubiinit was one of 16 clubs from Finland that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to HooGee Rubiinit, 92 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof HooGee Rubiinit could be found in Group 20 together with IF Väster, Ulricehamns IFK and Gamla Upsala SK. HooGee Rubiinit continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Stuvsta IF with 0-2. In the Final, Tölö IF won over Rävåsens IK and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 14. HooGee Rubiinit comes from Esbo which lies approximately 780 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Esbo does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (HPS, PK-35, NJS, HJK Helsinki , Pajamäen PV and FC Honka).
