Ulricehamn/Åsunden

Ulricehamn/Åsunden was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Ulricehamn/Åsunden, 84 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof Ulricehamn/Åsunden could be found in Group 18 together with Värtans IK, IFK Örby and KFV Segeberg. Ulricehamn/Åsunden continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Texas Spirit SC with 1-2. In the Final, Skurups AIF won over Linköping Kenty DFF and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 17. Ulricehamn/Åsunden comes from Ulricehamn which lies approximately 88 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
