IL Ørsta

IL Ørsta was one of 53 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to IL Ørsta, 204 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof IL Ørsta could be found in Group 44 together with FH 2, Kågedalens AIF and KF Besa-Peja. IL Ørsta continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 44. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Öjersjö IF with 0-4. In the Final, Chivas Guadalajara won over Fyllingsdalen FK 1 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 14. Ørsta comes from 6150 Ørsta which lies approximately 590 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
