Nykvarns SK

Nykvarns SK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Nykvarns SK, 84 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof Nykvarns SK could be found in Group 16 together with FC Vizioni Kosovo, Kiruna FF and Varhaug 2. Nykvarns SK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Karlbergs BK with 0-1. In the Final, Skurups AIF won over Linköping Kenty DFF and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 17. Nykvarns SK comes from Nykvarn which lies approximately 360 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nykvarn does also provide 24 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Spånga IS FK, Tullinge TP, Rönninge Salem Fotboll, Huddinge IF, Pershagens SK, Stuvsta IF, Mälarhöjdens IK, IK Viljan, Bele Barkarby FF and IFK Viksjö).
