MSEI/Midsouth FC

MSEI/Midsouth FC was one of 30 clubs from USA that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to MSEI/Midsouth FC, 147 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 36 different groups, whereof MSEI/Midsouth FC could be found in Group 28 together with TSV Altenholz, IF Lödde and FC Rueil Malmaison. MSEI/Midsouth FC continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 28. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against U.D. Pla De Na Tesa with 0-1. In the Final, Corsa FC 1 won over C.B./Oeste Solidaria and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 18. MSEI/Midsouth FC comes from 9310 Vodskov which lies approximately 130 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around 9310 Vodskov does also provide 7 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Roanoke Stars, JUSC, Texas Spirit SC , Saudi Falcons FC, Aalborg Chang, Special Olympics Denmark and Redlands AYSO).
