Süderneulander SV was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Süderneulander SV, 126 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Süderneulander SV could be found in Group 9 together with Stenkullen GoIK, Beirut FAC and Karlskrona AIF 1. Süderneulander SV continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Karlskrona AIF 2 with 0-7. In the Final, Tynecastle Football Club 1 won over JäPS and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 13. Süderneulander comes from Norden which lies approximately 550 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. Other than Süderneulander SV, the club TuS Strudden does also originate from the area around Norden.
