Tenhults IF

Tenhults IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Tenhults IF, 84 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof Tenhults IF could be found in Group 12 together with Spånga IS FK, Monteux Vaucluse Feminin FC 1 and B.Frem Sakskøbing. Tenhults IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Skurups AIF with 0-10. In the Final, Skurups AIF won over Linköping Kenty DFF and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 17. Tenhults comes from Tenhult which lies approximately 140 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Tenhult does also provide six additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Bankeryds SK, Jönköpings Södra IF, Norrahammars IK, Habo IF, Mullsjö IF and Husqvarna FF).
