Lohärad IF

Lohärad IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Lohärad IF, 126 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Lohärad IF could be found in Group 1 together with Sussex Elite, Almada Atlético Clube and Makati FC. Lohärad IF continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 1. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Club Reunion with 0-2. In the Final, CEF 18 Tucuman won over Club Reunion and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 13. Lohärad comes from Norrtälje which lies approximately 450 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Norrtälje does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Älvsjö AIK FF, Rö IK, Djurgårdens IF and Älta IF).
