IK Wormo

IK Wormo was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to IK Wormo, 204 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof IK Wormo could be found in Group 50 together with Gefle IF 1, BK Farum and FC Lynx. IK Wormo continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 50. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against FC Djursholm with 5-6. In the Final, Chivas Guadalajara won over Fyllingsdalen FK 1 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 14. Wormo comes from Landskrona which lies approximately 210 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Landskrona does also provide 33 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Gröndals IK, Ödåkra IF, Höganäs BK, GIF Nike, Fortuna FF, Billesholms GIF, Kullabygdens DFF, Trollenäs IF, AB Tårnby and Tårnby FF).
