Plymouth Argyle FC

Plymouth Argyle FC was one of 31 clubs from England that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 19. In addition to Plymouth Argyle FC, 32 other teams from 7 different countries played in Girls 19. They were divided into 8 different groups, whereof Plymouth Argyle FC could be found in Group 3 together with Ängelholms FF, Lindome GIF and Bergdalens IK. Plymouth Argyle FC continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 3. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against PSV Sydsjaelland with 0-1. In the Final, Södra Sandby IF won over Telge United FF and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 19. Plymouth Argyle FC comes from PL23DQ Plymouth which lies approximately 1300 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
