AB Tårnby

AB Tårnby was one of 15 clubs from Denmark that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to AB Tårnby, 39 other teams from 8 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof AB Tårnby could be found in Group 4 together with Utbynäs SK, Djurgården IF DFF and Södra Sandby IF. AB Tårnby continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Kullabygdens DFF with 1-2. In the Final, Kullabygdens DFF won over Marin FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 13. AB Tårnby comes from 2770 Kastrup which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around 2770 Kastrup does also provide 24 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Gröndals IK, GIF Nike, Bara GIF, Skanör-Falsterbo IF, LB07, Tårnby FF, Vellinge IF, Kvarnby IK, Uppåkra IF and Åkarps IF).
