Rävåsens IK

Rävåsens IK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Rävåsens IK, 92 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof Rävåsens IK could be found in Group 8 together with TPS Black, Gilleby/Stala Orust FC and Hässelby SK FF. Rävåsens IK made it to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 8. Once in the playoff they made it all the way to the Final, but lost it against Tölö IF with 0-3. Thereby Rävåsens IK finished second in G14 Slutspel B during Gothia Cup 2012. Rävåsens comes from Karlskoga which lies approximately 230 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Karlskoga does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Villastadens, IF, IF Eker Örebro and Nora Pershyttan BK).
