Sunnersta AIF

Sunnersta AIF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 13. In addition to Sunnersta AIF, 39 other teams from 9 different countries played in Girls 13. They were divided into 10 different groups, whereof Sunnersta AIF could be found in Group 9 together with DFF, Vasalunds, Eskilsminne IF 2 and Sandared/Sjömarkens IF. Sunnersta AIF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 9. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Hönö/Björkö with 0-2. In the Final, Kullabygdens DFF won over Marin FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 13. Sunnersta AIF comes from 5 Uppsala which lies approximately 400 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around 5 Uppsala does also provide 13 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Upsala IF, Rosersberg IK, Gamla Upsala SK, IFK Uppsala, Bälinge IF, IK Fyris, Håbo FF, Vaksala SK, IK Sirius FK and SK Wigör).
