Kiruna FF

Kiruna FF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Kiruna FF, 84 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof Kiruna FF could be found in Group 16 together with FC Vizioni Kosovo, Nykvarns SK and Varhaug 2. Kiruna FF continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 16. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against ATSV Scharmbeckstotel with 1-2. In the Final, Bele Barkarby FF won over Gustafs GoIF and became the winner of Slutspel A in Girls 17. Kiruna comes from Kiruna which lies approximately 1200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
