Lidköpings FK

Lidköpings FK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 14. In addition to Lidköpings FK, 92 other teams from 10 different countries played in Girls 14. They were divided into 23 different groups, whereof Lidköpings FK could be found in Group 12 together with AIK FF, Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club and Bergdalens IK. Lidköpings FK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 12. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Rosersberg IK with 0-1. In the Final, Tölö IF won over Rävåsens IK and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 14. Lidköpings FK comes from LIDKÖPING which lies approximately 110 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around LIDKÖPING does also provide five additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Hisingsbacka FC, Vinninga AIF, Skara FC, Levene/Skogslund and Varnhems IF).
