Luleå Sportklubb

Luleå Sportklubb was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Luleå Sportklubb, 204 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Luleå Sportklubb could be found in Group 19 together with AIK FF, Balltorps FF and Pol. Sirtorese. Luleå Sportklubb continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 19. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Lärje/Angered IF with 0-8. In the Final, Chivas Guadalajara won over Fyllingsdalen FK 1 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 14. Luleå comes from Luleå which lies approximately 1000 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Luleå does also provide 8 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (IFK Luleå, Bergnäsets AIK, Lira BK, Notvikens IK, LSK/Lira, Luleå SK, Svartbjörnsbyns IF and Trångfors IF).
