IK Viljan

IK Viljan was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 15. In addition to IK Viljan, 233 other teams from 42 different countries played in Boys 15. They were divided into 57 different groups, whereof IK Viljan could be found in Group 27 together with Valspar FC, Hipica Campinas, Bjärreds IF 2 and NK Aluminij. IK Viljan continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 27. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against AIK FF with 2-3. In the Final, Staffanstorps GIF won over First Touch FC and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 15. Viljan comes from Strängnäs / 645 42 Strängnäs which lies approximately 350 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Strängnäs / 645 42 Strängnäs does also provide 15 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Triangelns IK, Skiljebo SK, BK Sport, IFK Eskilstuna, Håbo FF, Skogstorps GoIF, Barkarö SK , Stallarholmens SK, Eskilstuna United DFF and Eskilstuna City FK).
