Kristianstad DFF

Kristianstad DFF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 15. In addition to Kristianstad DFF, 110 other teams from 12 different countries played in Girls 15. They were divided into 27 different groups, whereof Kristianstad DFF could be found in Group 4 together with Morön BK, Skara FC, DFK Värmbol and Darlington Fusion S.C.. Kristianstad DFF made it to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 4. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against Skara FC, which they won with 2-1. Thereby Kristianstad DFF won the entire Slutspel B in Girls 15 during Gothia Cup 2012. Kristianstad DFF comes from Gärds Köpinge which lies approximately 240 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Gärds Köpinge does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Broby IF, IFK Hässleholm, Lörby IF, Hjärsås/Värestorp IF, Hörby FF, Sösdala IF, Hässleholms IF, Åhus HBK, Mjällby AIF and Kristianstad BoIS).
