FC Trollhättan

FC Trollhättan was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to FC Trollhättan, 147 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 36 different groups, whereof FC Trollhättan could be found in Group 18 together with Halstenbek-Rellingen SV 2, America Elite and Sollentuna Fotboll IF. FC Trollhättan continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against FC Bordeaux Aquitaine with 1-2. In the Final, Fässbergs IF won over Fyllingsdalen FK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 18. FC Trollhättan comes from Trollhättan which lies approximately 64 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Trollhättan does also provide 11 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Ödsmåls IK, Trollhättans BoIS, IFK Uddevalla, Herrestads AIF, Ale U United, Stenungsunds IF, IK Oddevold, Ljungskile SK, Lilla Edet/Göta BK and IF Änglarna).
