IFK Berga

IFK Berga was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to IFK Berga, 204 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof IFK Berga could be found in Group 22 together with Lärje/Angered IF, Beirut FAC and IF Elfsborg. IFK Berga made it to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 22. Once in the playoff they won every match inluding the Final against GAIS, which they won with 1-0. Thereby IFK Berga won the entire Slutspel B in Boys 14 during Gothia Cup 2012. IFK Berga comes from KALMAR which lies approximately 290 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around KALMAR does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Ingelstad IK, Persnäs AIF, IFK Kalmar and Mönsterås GoIF).
