SC Vier- und Marschlande Hamburg

SC Vier- und Marschlande Hamburg was one of 70 clubs from Germany that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to SC Vier- und Marschlande Hamburg, 84 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof SC Vier- und Marschlande Hamburg could be found in Group 7 together with Gustafs GoIF, Näsets SK and FC Järfälla. SC Vier- und Marschlande Hamburg continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 7. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Gilleby/Stala Orust FC with 1-4. In the Final, Skurups AIF won over Linköping Kenty DFF and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 17. Vier- und Marschlande Hamburg comes from Hamburg which lies approximately 490 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Hamburg does also provide 20 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: SC Egenbuettel, SV Rugenbergen, SV Rönneburg, Ellerau, SC, TSC Wellingsbüttel, Halstenbek-Rellingen SV, TSV Buchholz 08, SC Sternschanze, Blau-Weiß 96 Schenefeld and SC Sperber).
