Runtuna IK

Runtuna IK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to Runtuna IK, 126 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof Runtuna IK could be found in Group 18 together with International SA, Bærumsløkka and IFK Göteborg. Runtuna IK continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 18. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against GAIS with 1-5. In the Final, Tynecastle Football Club 1 won over JäPS and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 13. Runtuna comes from Nyköping which lies approximately 330 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Nyköping does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Hargs BK, Nyköpings BIS, IFK Nyköping and Vagnhärads SK).
