Lisleby/Yven IF

Lisleby/Yven IF was one of 53 clubs from Norway that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Lisleby/Yven IF, 84 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof Lisleby/Yven IF could be found in Group 19 together with BV Werther, Tyresö FF and Skultorps IF. Lisleby/Yven IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 19. In the playoff they made it to 1/8 Final, but lost it against Fjolnir with 0-2. In the Final, Skurups AIF won over Linköping Kenty DFF and became the winner of Slutspel B in Girls 17. Lisleby/Yven comes from 1715 Yven which lies approximately 180 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around 1715 Yven does also provide three additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (SK Sprint-Jeløy, Askim FK and Nøtterøy IF).
