IF Eker Örebro

IF Eker Örebro was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to IF Eker Örebro, 188 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof IF Eker Örebro could be found in Group 30 together with Lilla Edet/Göta BK, Alexandria Sporting Club and Club da Turma. IF Eker Örebro continued to Slutspel B after reaching 3:rd place in Group 30. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Interesporte with 1-2. In the Final, InterClubes won over FBK Karlstad and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 16. Eker Örebro comes from Örebro which lies approximately 250 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
