Förslövs IF

Förslövs IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Förslövs IF, 140 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Förslövs IF could be found in Group 10 together with Tölö IF, KL Youth Soccer and C.D. San Patricio 2. Förslövs IF continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 10. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against IF Väster with 0-1. In the Final, Beirut FAC won over San Javier Guadalajara and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 12. Förslövs comes from Förslöv which lies approximately 160 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Förslöv does also provide 20 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Trönninge IFTrönninge IF, Ödåkra IF, Höganäs BK, Alets Idrottsklubb , Brunnby FF, Fortuna FF, Billesholms GIF, Ängelholms FF, Kullabygdens DFF and Ramlösa Södra FF).
