IK Kongahälla

IK Kongahälla was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 13. In addition to IK Kongahälla, 126 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 13. They were divided into 31 different groups, whereof IK Kongahälla could be found in Group 11 together with PACES, AIK FF 2 and TSV Uesen. IK Kongahälla continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against CEF 18 Tucuman with 0-4. In the Final, CEF 18 Tucuman won over Club Reunion and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 13. Kongahälla comes from Kungälv which lies approximately 14 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kungälv does also provide 66 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Lerums IS, IF Väster, Näsets SK, Finlandia-Pallo IF , Södra Skärgården IK, Landvetter IF, BK Bifrost, Fässbergs IF, Mölnlycke IF and IK Zenith).
