A.F. Madrid Sur

A.F. Madrid Sur was one of 10 clubs from Spain that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 18. In addition to A.F. Madrid Sur, 147 other teams from 33 different countries played in Boys 18. They were divided into 36 different groups, whereof A.F. Madrid Sur could be found in Group 11 together with Lerums IS, IFK Viksjö 1 and F.C. Beirut. A.F. Madrid Sur continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 11. In the playoff they made it to 1/16 Final, but lost it against Paris F.C 1 with 1-2. In the Final, Fässbergs IF won over Fyllingsdalen FK and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 18. A.F. Madrid Sur comes from C.P. Brunete Madrid which lies approximately 2200 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
