Gerdskens BK

Gerdskens BK was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 12. In addition to Gerdskens BK, 140 other teams from 32 different countries played in Boys 12. They were divided into 34 different groups, whereof Gerdskens BK could be found in Group 20 together with IF Brommapojkarna 2, Kent Elite and Phoenix Sports. Gerdskens BK continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Älvsjö AIK FF with 2-6. In the Final, IF Elfsborg won over Efthymiades FA and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 12. Gerdskens comes from Alingsås which lies approximately 40 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Alingsås does also provide 36 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Lerums IS, Torslanda IK, Landvetter IF, Syria/Kamishly, Bergdalens IK, Utbynäs SK, Sävedalens IF, Brämhults IK, Tuve IF and Stenkullen GoIK).
