Milan Academy

Milan Academy was one of 9 clubs from Portugal that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 11. In addition to Milan Academy, 111 other teams from 29 different countries played in Boys 11. They were divided into 28 different groups, whereof Milan Academy could be found in Group 14 together with Helsingborgs IF 1, Kärra KIF and International SA. Milan Academy continued to Slutspel B after reaching 4:th place in Group 14. In the playoff they made it to 1/32 Final, but lost it against Lärje/Angered IF with 1-4. In the Final, IFK Göteborg won over Accademia Gaggiano and became the winner of Slutspel B in Boys 11. Milan Academy comes from 4485-503 Vila do conde which lies approximately 2300 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place.
