Villastadens, IF

Villastadens, IF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 14. In addition to Villastadens, IF, 204 other teams from 26 different countries played in Boys 14. They were divided into 51 different groups, whereof Villastadens, IF could be found in Group 32 together with Fiorente Grassobbio, Jonsereds IF and IL Jotun. Villastadens, IF continued to Slutspel A after reaching 2:nd place in Group 32. In the playoff they made it to 1/64 Final, but lost it against Marin FC with 0-3. In the Final, Chivas Guadalajara won over Fyllingsdalen FK 1 and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 14. Villastadens, comes from Kristinehamn which lies approximately 220 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kristinehamn does also provide four additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (FBK Karlstad, Rävåsens IK, Carlstad United and QBIK).
