Kungsbacka DFF 1

Kungsbacka DFF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Girls 17. In addition to Kungsbacka DFF, 84 other teams from 14 different countries played in Girls 17. They were divided into 21 different groups, whereof Kungsbacka DFF 1 could be found in Group 20 together with Trångfors IF, Millwall FC and IFK Nyköping 1. Kungsbacka DFF 1 continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 20. In the playoff they made it to Semi final, but lost it against Gustafs GoIF with 0-1. In the Final, Bele Barkarby FF won over Gustafs GoIF and became the winner of Slutspel A in Girls 17. Kungsbacka DFF comes from Kungsbacka which lies approximately 45 km from Göteborg, where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Kungsbacka does also provide 26 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: IF Väster, Näsets SK, Södra Skärgården IK, Åsa IF, BK Bifrost, Tölö IF, Kungsbacka IF, Fässbergs IF, Mölnlycke IF and Lerkils IF).
