Qviding FIF

Qviding FIF was one of 417 clubs from Sweden that had teams playing during Gothia Cup 2012. They participated with one team in Boys 16. In addition to Qviding FIF, 188 other teams from 34 different countries played in Boys 16. They were divided into 47 different groups, whereof Qviding FIF could be found in Group 41 together with Airbus Academy 2, Club Municipal de Casablanca and Åkarps IF 2. Qviding FIF continued to Slutspel A after reaching 1:st place in Group 41. In the playoff they made it to 1/4 Final, but lost it against Cruzeiro EC with 0-1. In the Final, Paris F.C won over Cruzeiro EC and became the winner of Slutspel A in Boys 16. Qviding FIF originates from Göteborg, which is the same city as where Gothia Cup takes place. The area around Göteborg does also provide 66 additional clubs participating during Gothia Cup 2012 (Among others: Lerums IS, IF Väster, Näsets SK, Finlandia-Pallo IF , Södra Skärgården IK, Landvetter IF, BK Bifrost, Tölö IF, Kungsbacka IF and Fässbergs IF).
